Country of origin: Spain
Produced by the steam distillation of the plant seeds. This has an aroma similar to that of Liquorice being warm and spicy. Often used in cough mixtures and lozenges, as well as being widely used as a spice.
Quite popular in Turkey as an alcoholic drink ‘raki’. Please note that this oil is solid at lower temperatures, just place bottle in slightly warm water to gently liquify.
